Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and continuous improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and backend applications.
• Conduct regression, performance, smoke, and usability testing.
• Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks and test environments.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights for continuous product improvement.
• Ensure software quality in accordance with defined standards and best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospective meetings within an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in software testing and quality assurance.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG).
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB certification or similar QA credentials.
• Experience testing cloud-based and SaaS applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
